What do you charge?
It depends on the job! Generally, the first hour is a free consultation, and I charge $50 an hour afterwards. However, all prices are negotiable.
Upon request, I will film my process so that you can verify the time taken.
For 3D illustrations, how does render time factor into cost?
The good news is, I don't have to be at my desk for something to render! The bad news is, there isn't much else I can use my computer for while it's doing that. So, render time will be priced at 20% of my active work time, or $10/hr.
How will I pay you?
I am currently only set up to receive payment via PayPal and Venmo, but if you'd like to arrange a different payment method, we can do that!
Do you have illustrations that aren't made-to-order?
Any illustrations that you see on my homepage that are not associated with any publications have a copyright watermark on them for this reason. You can buy them on Gumroad to use in your publications!
Do you make non-scientific art?
I do! My non-scientific art can be found on my ArtStation.
