Our Mission

CABDesign is an NSF Science and Technology Center (STC) dedicated to pioneering synthetic genome engineering in algae. Our mission is to develop advanced biodesign principles and technologies to create sustainable bioproducts, addressing critical challenges in energy, food, and environmental stewardship.
